Sunscreen! What else? It’s the most obvious skin damage preventing product that so many people choose not to put on. They’d sooner cover their sun created sun spots with foundations than prevent any with sunscreen.

Once the snow melts, sun shines, and temperature rises, people begin stripping down excited about spring and summer fashions, new swimsuits, and getting a tan; myself included. After being winter bound for months, I normally overindulge at the first opportunity of sunshine but over the years I’ve become more and more determined to protect my skin. Call me vain, but as much as I love the look of natural born freckles, I detest the ones created by sun damage. Of course freckles aren’t the only reason to wear sunscreen but without becoming mother hen, I’ll just throw a couple of words your way: premature ageing; skin cancer.
